Microsoft's July 9 Swiss AI note and the linked 2026 Work Trend Index Annual Report say the same thing in different words. AI value does not come from stacking on more tools. It comes from changing how work gets done.
The numbers are the useful part. 65% of Swiss AI users say they can now do work they could not do a year ago, versus 58% globally. Among Frontier Professionals, that jumps to 83%. That is real progress, but it is not automatic.
The gap is leadership. Only 24% of Swiss AI users say leadership is clearly and consistently aligned on AI. That is where a lot of these projects stall. If the team is still using old approvals, old handoffs, and old ownership, the tool just speeds up the mess.

That is the part a lot of companies want to skip.
The teams that win will not be the ones with the most copilots on the shelf. They will be the ones that clean up the operating model so AI can actually move the work forward. It is the same question I ask before any HubSpot or RevOps change.
